There are seven unique districts in RiverTown. Main Street District blends in-town living with a small-town feel. This charming, vibrant, live-work-play mix of multi-family and single-family homes, shops, restaurants, offices, parks and civic amenities is steps away from the river. Further inland, blocks of endearing homes are woven together by friendly streetscapes. The Garden District delights residents with its panoramic beauty and charm. Imaginative gardens and stunning natural areas-many overlooking ravines provide picturesque settings for homes. A vineyard and community garden will offer straight-to-table enjoyment, while the Garden Swim Club will be a hub of leisure-time activities. In the Bungalow District gracious arts-and-craft-style homes will line streets that are fringed by live oaks and lead to riverside pocket parks. The Lake District is perfect for folks who love fishing, sailing and paddling can enjoy lakefront residences and a community Lake House. The Farms District is a place of rural estates that range along fenced-lined country lanes, pastures, lakes and pine forests. At the Cove District, private lanes will lead to secluded estate homes along the Hallows Cove shoreline. Lastly the Trails District has trail homes nestled in woodsy conservation areas laced by plentiful trails and boardwalks.
Accessibility to the river is the cornerstone of the RiverTown philosophy and a key embodiment of this philosophy is the Riverfront Park - a spacious 58-acre centralized portal to the beautiful St. Johns River. Designed to be enjoyed not just by residents but also by the public from the surrounding regions, Riverfront Park will be a link between RiverTown proper and the water, offering a peaceful setting for the enjoyment of the scenic, natural beauty. You can also play in the dirt at the Community Gardens or splash around in the river or on the lakes. RiverTown Fields, the 100-acre recreational park has several multi-use fields for soccer and various other sports, a comfort/concession stand, picnic areas and more.
Designed as an active town center with quaint shops, restaurants and abundant space for offices, residential units, retail outlets and civic activities, Main Street draws upon the classic Southern tradition of the town square. Residents can also enjoy an 18-hole championship golf course (designed by Clyde Johnston) and clubhouse just minutes away at St. Johns Golf & Country Club.
